My ProBarre or Twin Barre leg feel slightly loose even when the clamps are tight. Is there something I can do?

Are Vita Vibe Ballet Barres height adjustable?
Yes, all Vita Vibe portable / freestanding barres are height adjustable from 6" up to 46" in height. This applies to both Prodigy and Professional series, single and double freestanding barres. Our Wall and Floor mounted barres are also available in adjustable height versions as well.

What length ballet barre should I buy?
This depends; if it is for a single user, then it really comes down to how much space is available in your home or studio. Most single users tend to go with our BD48 (4 foot) or our BD60 (5 foot) models as they are long enough for a single user yet short enough to fit most anywhere and store easily. For barres that will be used by more than one person at a time, we offer single and double freestanding barres up to 8 feet long.

What are the differences between the Prodigy and Professional Series?
Our Prodigy series is designed for home and light commercial use. They feature composite (engineered resin) clamps and lighter gauge powder coated aluminum barres. The Professional series are used by commercial dance studios, rental facilities and professional dance troupes worldwide. Though these barres were designed for heavier commercial use they are well suited for home use as well. Our Professional series feature 50% heavier gauge powder coated aluminum barres and cast aluminum clamps. Both Prodigy and Professional Series freestanding ballet barres are available in single or double barre with all barres fully height adjustable and are backed by our exclusive 10 year warranty.

Are Vita Vibe freestanding barres easy to set up, take down and store?
Yes, all of our freestanding barres arrive partially assembled, all that is required is to insert the uprights into the feet assemblies and attach the horizontal barres. It only takes a few minutes to set up and adjust to your desired height. For storing, simply "pivot" the feet. This will allow for fast easy storing under a bed or lean/hang on a wall.

Are Vita Vibe freestanding barres easy to transport?
Yes, all of our freestanding barres are light and very easy to take down to transport. We also offer carry bags for our 4 and 5 foot models.

Are Vita Vibe freestanding ballet barres sturdy?
Yes, the barres are very sturdy when used as a ballet barre. As with any freestanding barre there are certain limitations. Many instructors prefer using freestanding barres as it helps their students with overall core balance training as where rigidly mounted wall barres can sometimes act as a "crutch" that the students may start to depend on it.

What do you mean by "modular design"?
All Vita Vibe Ballet Barres are designed so that (for example) you have a 5 foot single barre and would like to have a double 8 foot barre. You can simply order just the components to make this conversion without the expense of purchasing an entire new ballet barre. Or perhaps you have two 6 foot freestanding barres; you could order just the horizontal barre(s) and clamps to "link" the two barres together to create a length of barre that you desire. This design also applies to our wall and floor mounted barres. Our wall and floor barres can be coupled together to create any length. Our coupling system provides a smooth transition with no obstructions along the entire length.

How do you ship?
We normally ship all orders within the Continental United States by UPS. Orders shipped outside the Continental United States are shipped by USPS, DHL, UPS and various common carriers depending on your location. Orders received by 2pm EST M-F will ship the same day.

Are Vita Vibe products available at my local retail stores?
No, Vita Vibe product are only sold factory direct through this website, Amazon, ebay and our other on-line websites. This is the main reason for our very reasonable prices.

What is your return policy?
Our return policy is very simple. If you decide to return your purchase, just return it within 30 days (postage prepaid) and we'll refund the original purchase price in full. Products must be packaged well for return shipping. If the product is returned damaged due to improper packaging or abuse, a 20% restock fee will be deducted from the purchase price. * Due to the custom nature of our Designer Series Barres, we will accept returns within 30 days with a required 25% restock fee.
